Sparrows Group

Critical equipment, such as our WindMaster crane range and cable and pipe lay solutions, can be supplied through Alpha or directly from us.

We design and manufacture cranes, carousels and tensioners as well as providing installation, testing and operations support.

With over 40 years' experience of specialising in the manufacture, operations and ongoing maintenance of cranes in the offshore industry we have an unrivalled knowledge of the challenges faced in demanding environments.

Our equipment is designed to minimise lifecycle maintenance. Our experience maintaining and operating a variety of crane types and brands puts us in the unique position to understand how future maintenance can be optimised through the right design – increasing efficiency and reducing costs across the life cycle.

Both our crane range and cable and pipe lay equipment is available as bespoke new build or we have a range of rental equipment which can be used for temporary operations.

New build equipment is highly customisable and is designed to meet your exact requirements. We believe that it is important that you have equipment which matches your needs.

Our rental fleet can be mobilised anywhere in the world and is a cost-effective solution when you have a temporary work scope.

Our largest current project in the sector is for ScottishPower Renewables' 714 megawatt East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm for which we are manufacturing the 102 turbine platform cranes. Read more about this project on ScottishPower Renewables' website here.
