Sparrows Group’s Cable and Pipe Lay Solutions (CPLS) division offers both rental and new-build services to the global subsea pipe and cable laying industries.

We supply:
- Complete lay systems
- Tensioners (2-track and 4-track)
- Reel drives
- Carousels
- Under-rollers
- Associated power and control systems.
- Well Intervention Deployment Systems
- Ancillary equipment such as Lay Chutes, roller paths, bow cable engines (BCE) and any other equipment associated with handling of flexibles.
Formerly known as Baricon Systems, we utilise our extensive engineering expertise to supply a comprehensive service.
We offer full technical support. This includes technicians to operate the equipment on-site, trouble-shooting, long-term maintenance and 24/7 onshore technical support. Our innovative and bespoke back deck equipment and product handling systems can be designed for any project. Whether its onshore product spooling, or offshore lay or recovery operations, our equipment can be rapidly mobilised around the world.
