Latchways Fall Protection Systems

Sparrows are proud to hold a working agreement with Latchways, a global company dedicated to protecting the safety of individuals working at height, for the supply and installation of a range of Latchways fall protection products. This fall protection system agreement not only covers the integration of new equipment within existing rig systems but also covers lifetime care of each system plus the supply and support of spares.
 
Together we offer the following Latchways Fall Protection systems:

• LadderLatch
• Overhead

Our agreement allows Sparrows to utilise Latchways’ 35 years experience in cable-based fall protection. Their systems provide continuous hands-free movement in complete safety, covering a wide range of access problems.

Latchways LadderLatch system

The LadderLatch system provides cable safety for ladders on chimneys, towers, cranes, silos, and other vertical applications. In the event of a fall the LadderLatch unit immediately locks onto the cable minimising the fall distance. The cable can be orientated to follow a structure’s contours and support up to four workers.

Latchways Overhead Systems

Latchways overhead systems provide a fall protection solution on horizontal applications, consisting of a length of cable, attachments and an energy absorber that will control the load absorbed to safe levels in the event of a fall.  The worker attaches to the cable using a TransFastener which has an ingenious starwheel design allowing continuous movement along the cable and eliminates the need to detach and re-attach when changing direction or crossing cable supports.
