Pipe and Cable Tensioners

Sparrows Baricon’s range of hydraulically powered ‘caterpillar’ tensioners maintain tension in pipe or cable being laid or retrieved, but relieve that tension before it can be carried back to the shipboard carousel. Although we have a standard products list (please see datasheet download list on the right), we can deliver bespoke products to any size/specification.

Capacities range from 1.5te to 36te, from 300mm to 600mm diameter capacity and with pay-out speed from 0-1000m/hr.
