Zero TRCF achievement for Europe and Africa operations

Sparrows Europe and Africa operations are proud to announce their recent attainment of Zero TRCF (Total Recordable Case Frequency) at end October 2011. The drop in incidents over the last year has highlighted the outstanding level of safety awareness now in practise throughout the company.

Sharing this Success

This milestone is of course shared by every Sparrows employee working within the European and Africa region, including support staff. However, particular recognition goes to Sparrows SGR and our onshore workshops personnel, who are responsible for the physical delivery of our service at the sharp-end. Our operational activities are very dynamic, therefore risk inherent and it is testament to our risk management processes and most of all the competence of our frontline Supervisors, Foremen, Crane Operators and Maintainers of all disciplines, both resident and in the group known as the “Flying Squad” that this turnaround has been accomplished.

The Challenge in 2012

The challenge going forward is to sustain the current level of performance, rightly applauded above, into 2012 and beyond. Sparrows management at all levels will ensure that the right- evel of support in terms of leadership, management and supervision, systems, training and fit-for-purpose tooling is available to return an incident-free operation.
