American Aero Cranes refurbishment programme encompasses a complete stripped down at our workshops and the rigorous undertaking of the following work:

• American Aero Cranes - Dismantling and examination of the slew bearing and chassis fasteners
• American Aero Cranes - Refurbishment of the “A” frame and chassis
• American Aero Cranes - Refurbishment of the prime mover (diesel engine) and splitter gearbox

American Aero Crane Boom

The long boom which is fabricated from heavy duty low alloy tubular lacings and chords comprises elements which include:

• 1 x 30ft section
• 1 x 30ft head section

The American Aero Cranes boom hoist is independently powered and controlled using the American Aero Cranes designed hydraulic hoist unit using a closed loop system and powered by piston pump and motor equipment. It provides infinite variable speed control and full reversing (powered controlled lowering) characteristics.
