This training course is designed for management & supervisory staff who are not directly involved in hands-on crane operations but need to understand legal responsibilities and practicalities of offshore cranes and lifting operations.

Pedestal crane practical element:

  • Introduction & familiarisation to the Liebherr 2600 pedestal mounted crane;
  • Opportunity to gain a crane operator’s perspective through operation of the crane, under direct supervision of the Instructor Introduction & familiarisation:
  • Crane simulator Various snapshots/scenarios & emergency situations that could occur during offshore crane operations;
  • Delegate hands-on practical element
